How to Install an Enterprise app on iOS

Some of our customers choose to distribute their iOS app on an Enterprise Developer Account. This causes a minor change to the downloading process.
Step 1
  • Click the download link provided in the invitation email.
  • This will prompt you to install the app. Select "Install."
Step 2
  • After selecting install, you will see a blank browser.
  • Close you browser and return to the home screen on your device.
Step 3
  • On the home screen, you should now see the app icon indicating that the app is installing.
Step 4
  • Once the app install finishes, launch the app.
  • If you have iOS 8, you will be asked to "Trust" the app immediately. If this is the case, select "Trust" and continue to Step 8 below.
  • If you have iOS 9 or newer, you will see the message below. Continue to Step 5 for next steps.
Step 5
  • Navigate to the Settings app on your device and tap on "General."
Step 6
  • Next, scroll to "Profiles & Device Management." Note: Depending on your OS version, this may be called "Profiles" or "Device Management."
Step 7
  • In the Enterprise App section, choose your company name.
Step 8
  • Tap "Trust." You can now launch the app and login.
Things to Remember:
  1. This method for downloading only applies to apps that are being distributed through an Enterprise Accounts.
  2. If you're questioning if this might be a good distribution method for you and your end users, reach out to your Customer Success Manager. They will be able to walk you through what that entails.

Ultimate Folder Structure For Your React Native Project

Ultimate Folder Structure For Your React Native Project React native project structure React Native is a flexible framework, giving developers the freedom to choose their code structure. However, this can be a double-edged sword for beginners. Though it offers ease of coding, it can soon become challenging to manage as your project expands. Thus, a structured folder system can be beneficial in many ways like better organization, simplified module management, adhering to coding practices, and giving a professional touch to your project. This write-up discusses a version of a folder arrangement that I employ in my React Native projects. This structure is based on best practices and can be modified to suit the specific needs of your project. Before we get into the project structure let’s give credit to @sanjay who has the original idea of the structure but I modify his version of the code, to make it better. Reloading UITableView while Animating Scroll in iOS 11

Reloading UITableView while Animating Scroll Calling  reloadData  on  UITableView  may not be the most efficient way to update your cells, but sometimes it’s easier to ensure the data you are storing is in sync with what your  UITableView  is showing. In iOS 10  reloadData  could be called at any time and it would not affect the scrolling UI of  UITableView . However, in iOS 11 calling  reloadData  while your  UITableView  is animating scrolling causes the  UITableView  to stop its scroll animation and not complete. We noticed this is only true for scroll animations triggered via one of the  UITableView  methods (such as  scrollToRow(at:at:animated:) ) and not for scroll animations caused by user interaction. This can be an issue when server responses trigger a  reloadData  call since they can happen at any moment, possibly when scroll animation is occurring. Example of s...
